TEKNIK VISUALISASI MAKLUMAT SYARAH HADIS

Information Visualization technique involves presentation of information using illustrations that are dominated by speedy and systematic information access facilities. In line with rapid development of information technology, delivery and learning methods of Islamic education such as Hadith knowledge should inculcate innovative elements to encourage Muslim community to deepen religious demands. Although there are hadith knowledge applications in the market, there are some problems with the use of interface designs, mostly in the form of one-dimensional and digital sources that are restricted to the content of hadith material. Hence, this study proposes an Information Visualization Application of Hadith Commentary as a method of teaching and supporting media in learning and understanding Hadith Commentary. The objective of this paper is to develop the visualization conceptual model of conical-based hadith model, and test this model via usability test. The research methodology involves analysis of three Hadith books, design and development of the application and usability testing based on four aspects related to interface design, interactivity, information visualization and overall perception. The development contributes to a prototype of Information Visualization Information of Hadith Commentary (V-Syarah Hadith). Results of the assessment suggest the suitability and usefulness of the information visualization techniques in delivering Hadith Commentary. The developed prototype is expected to help users in learning hadiths by exploiting hierarchical data structure to simplify complex information in precise manner. The application is expected to portray Hadith Commentary using structural display that stimulate users’ perception and cognition by allowing multiple interaction and manipulation.

Abstrak
Teknik Visualisasi Maklumat membabitkan proses persembahan maklumat dalam bentuk ilustrasi yang didominasi oleh kemudahan capaian maklumat secara cepat dan sistematik. Sejajar dengan perkembangan pesat teknologi maklumat, kaedah penyampaian dan pembelajaran pendidikan Islam seperti ilmu Hadis wajar disuntik elemen inovasi untuk menggalakkan masyarakat Islam mendalami tuntutan agama. Meskipun terdapat aplikasi ilmu hadis dalam pasaran, namun terdapat beberapa masalah penggunaan berkaitan dengan reka bentuk antara muka yang kebanyakannya dalam bentuk satu dimensi dan sumber perolehan digital yang terhad kepada kandungan berbentuk matan hadis. Justeru, kajian ini mencadangkan sebuah aplikasi Visualisasi Maklumat Syarah Hadis sebagai satu kaedah pengajaran dan media sokongan dalam pembelajaran dan pemahaman tentang Syarah Hadis. Objektif kertas ini tertumpu kepada membangun model konseptual visualisasi syarah hadis berasas pohon kon, dan menguji model ini melalui ujian kebolehgunaan oleh pengguna. Metodologi kajian melibatkan analisis sumber terhadap tiga buah kitab hadis yang muktabar, reka bentuk dan pembangunan aplikasi visualisasi maklumat syarah hadis dan pengujian pengguna berkenaan isu kebolehgunaan berdasarkan empat aspek reka bentuk antara muka, interaktiviti, visualisasi maklumat dan persepsi keseluruhan. Hasil pembangunan ini menyumbang kepada sebuah prototaip aplikasi Visualisasi Maklumat Syarah Hadis (V-Syarah Hadis). Hasil penilaian yang dijalankan mendapati kesesuaian dan kebolehgunaan yang tinggi terhadap teknik visualisasi maklumat dalam penyampaian Ilmu Syarah Hadis. Prototaip yang dibangunkan diharap dapat membantu pengguna dalam proses pembelajaran syarah hadis yang mempunyai ciri data hirarki dengan maklumat yang banyak dan kompleks serta sukar diingati. Aplikasi VM ini dijangka dapat menggambarkan maklumat Syarah Hadis secara paparan berstruktur yang merangsang persepsi dan kognisi pengguna dengan membenarkan interaksi dan manipulasi berganda.
