Speech Acts Analysis Related To Critical Thinking In Prophetic Hadith
Keywords:
Speech acts, Critical thinking, Prophetic Hadith, Textual analysis, Islamic linguistic.Abstract
This study aims to analyze the speech acts in the Prophet's hadith and its relationship with critical thinking. Critical thinking is the ability to explain, analyze, interpret, make self-regulation, make inference, and evaluate based on rational evidence. The Prophetic Hadith, as the second source of reference in Islam after the Quran, contains various aspects of communication that reflect critical thinking. This article uses a textual analysis approach to hadiths that are relevant to this concept. The results of the study showed that the Prophet PBUH used various speech strategies such as questions and answers, giving analogies, and reprimands that encouraged his companions to think critically. This study makes an important contribution to the field of linguistics and Islamic thought by linking communication elements with intellectual development.
